13th Annual Billboard Dance Music Summit Hits Las Vegas with

New York, NY (September 5, 2006) – Billboard, the world’s most trusted source of music, video and digital entertainment news, charts, reviews and analysis, is gearing up for the 2006 Dance Music Summit, presented by Marian Records, which is taking place from September 17-20 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.  Hailed as the dance music industry’s most important business-to-business event, this four-day summit attracts an international and domestic contingency of over 500 attendees to discuss the most timely, relevant and controversial topics in music today.

 

Now in its 13th year, the Billboard Dance Music Summit has brought out the best of the dance and electronic music industry, including past appearances by Yoko Ono, BT, Paul van Dyk, Candi Staton, Cyndi Lauper and Tiësto.  This year’s event is no exception—featuring compelling panel discussions, with appearances by Kristine W., Jody Watley, Ferry Corsten, Kaskade and Junkie XL.

 

Guided by Billboard's global editorial team and industry experts, the conference will provide attendees with information about important trends, and will offer networking opportunities with top record label, entertainment, and advertising executives.
